Dr ENG Wah Yound, Melinda
EdD, MM, MEd

General Manager

Melinda holds a Master of Music from Northern Illinois University, USA and a Master of Education from Nanyang Technological University, National Institute of Education, Singapore. She has also completed a Doctorate in Education with Monash University, Victoria, Australia.

As a former Inspector of Preschool Education at the Preschool and Special Education Branch of the Ministry of Education, she assisted in ensuring that kindergartens adhered to the regulations and standards set by the Ministry of Education, Singapore. She was also involved in the Preschool Pilot Project initiated by the Ministry of Education from 2000 to 2002 as a co-ordinator of the pilot curriculum materials and research.

Melinda has also been training preschool teachers since 1989. In addition, she advises the content development of research and consultancy projects undertaken by RTRC Asia, the training and consultancy arm of the NTUC Childcare Co-operative Group- a leader in the training of early childhood professionals in Singapore and the region.

Before she joined The Little Skool-House International, she was Assistant Director, Research and Consultancy, at RTRC Asia. Currently, she continues as an adjunct lecturer of Wheelock College, Boston, USA.

 
Prisana Ratanasuwanasri

Prisana holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA. Before she joined NTUC Childcare Co-operative Ltd, she was a manager at Bain & Company, based in Singapore office. She has over 6 years of experience advising clients on strategic and operational issues across different industries, including financial services, logistics, consumer goods and service. She also led many strategy implementation projects with the clients’ operational teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, China, and Australia.

Prisana is currently holding various portfolios including Group Business Development Officer for NTUC Childcare Co-operative Ltd and Deputy General Manager for The Little Skool-House International.

 
Coreen SOH
BSc, M.Sc (Early Childhood Education)

Coreen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, National Institute of Education and a Master of Science (Early Childhood Education) from Wheelock College, USA. She has eight years of professional experience in the early childhood field, holding positions from teacher and principal to curriculum manager and specialist, trainer and academic manager.

Before joining The Little Skool-House, Coreen was part of the curriculum team that design and develop the new curriculum for the NTUC Childcare centres’ use. It has since been implemented in 40 centres.

As an Education Development Manager, Coreen oversees the design and development of The Little Skool-House’s curriculum and training, and the Community Learning and Parent Support Programmes.

 
PEREIRA Patricia
DPET, DPEL, Adv CPMA

Patricia holds an advanced certificate in Pre-School Management and Administration from Nanyang Technology University and National Institute of Education Singapore. She also holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (Teaching) from Wheelock College, USA.

Patricia has 19 years of professional experience in the early childhood field, holding positions from Senior Teacher, Senior Principal, Operations Manager to Business Development & Operations Manager. She is known for her innovative and creative ideas, and ability to motivate professional teams to continuously improve the education and care services that they render. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with Wheelock College, USA.

Patricia’s current role includes:

management of all LSH centres to ensure quality standards are maintained;
setting up of new centres; and developing new programmes.
