Preschool (18 months to 6 years) - Full Day, Half Day
“To the world you may be one person; but to one person you may be the world.” This is the Dr Seuss quote that inspires and motivates Avril Wong to be involved in children’s lives every day. She believes that both educators and parents play significant roles in each child’s life, becoming important figures in the children’s learning journeys.
It is this firm belief that has seen Avril taking on the role of principal at The Little Skool-House since 2010. She has worked with children in both kindergarten and childcare settings since joining the early childhood industry in 2003, and has held both teaching and principal positions.
As a principal, Avril strives for open communication and adopts a hands-on approach to mentoring her team. She shares her knowledge and experience to help them provide an enriching environment that caters to the various needs of the children in our diverse society. Through her position, she also promotes parental and community involvement, teambuilding and a culture of positive change and continuous improvement.
Avril holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Leadership).
