In Singapore, parents of preschool-age children often rely on the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) website for information on accredited preschools. However, recent changes have altered the way parents access this information.

What are the changes by ECDA?
Previously, parents could easily access a list of ECDA-accredited preschools on the Preschool Search Portal (PSP) hosted by the ECDA website. However, the preschool search function was discontinued on January 15, 2024.
The service has transitioned to the LifeSG mobile app, a one-stop portal for accessing government services
If you previously registered interest in the ECDA-hosted PSP, you do not have to worry about your applications being lost. Your existing records can be retrieved and linked to your new account on the LifeSG app.
Follow these steps to retrieve your records.
- Log in to https://cms.ecda.gov.sg/preschool with your Singpass by selecting the Login button on the top right corner (or Menu and Login if on the mobile version).
- Click My Interests from the drop-down menu in the right corner.
- Click to retrieve your existing records.
- Follow the instructions to link your previous records with your new account.
Your queue position in the preschools you previously indicated interest in will not be impacted.
How to use LifeSG
To access the list of ECDA-accredited preschools and register interest for your child, follow these simple steps:
- Go to LifeSG Preschool Services or Download the LifeSG app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Search for preschools – Find available preschools based on your child’s needs by location or by centre name.
- Bookmark preschools – Shortlist preschools with their contact details. Login with Singpass to bookmark.
- Contact preschools – Call, email or visit preschools’ websites and contact the preschool directly to follow up with enrolment matters.
