We nurture and support each child to fulfil his or her potential
Since 1994, thousands of children at The Little Skool-House have reached millions of achievements. From creating literary works to investigating science facts to achieving Mandarin fluency and Math skills to developing healthy eating habits and independence. That’s because The Little Skool-House is more than just a ‘skool’. Our comprehensive curriculum, along with our teachers’ expertise, create a learning environment where discovery, creativity and diversity are encouraged and celebrated.
As a result, The Little Skool-House has seen success on so many levels:
1. A Nanyang Technological University (NTU) study found that 93% of Little Skool-House children are assessed to be highly proficient bilingually.
2. For the last 7 consecutive years, our teachers have won awards from Ministry of Education (Outstanding Mother Tongue Language Teacher), and the Early Childhood Development Agency (Outstanding Early Childhood Teacher & Awards for Excellence in Early Childhood Developments). Our teachers go through rigorous training from our in-house top ECDA fellows, a select group of exemplary early childhood professionals with high levels of leadership and professional expertise. These experts are also behind the success of our unique and outstanding curriculum.
3. The Little Skool House is the preschool of choice for some of Singapore’s most prestigious institutions to provide preschool education to their personnel. These include top education and child welfare institutions (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social and Family Development); major tertiary institutions (National University of Singapore, Republic Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic); and esteemed healthcare institutions (Singapore General Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and National University Health System) and OCBC Bank.
4. Our 25-year heritage has seen over 4,500 children fulfill more than 3 million achievements – from creating literary works, to learning Math skills, science facts and acquiring Mandarin fluency, to developing healthy eating habits and learning to be independent.
