How does Little Skool-House teach bilingually in English and Chinese?

The Little Skool House curriculum and teaching pedagogy inspires both learning and confidence in language. Our curriculum is a bilingual programme with equal emphasis to both English and Mandarin.

Our focus is not just on learning the language but also on learning about the language. The Mandarin curriculum has 3 main goals:

1. Children will have an interest in learning Mandarin.
2. Children will develop foundational language and literacy skills in Mandarin.
3. Children will be aware of the local ethnic culture.

In fact, a Nanyang Technological University (NTU) study found that 93% of Little Skool-House children are assessed to be highly proficient bilingually.
