The Little Skool-House preschool in Clementi is located at the National University of Singapore, a major tertiary institution in Singapore. Our centre features well-equipped classrooms and an outdoor playground that encourages exploration and the development of motor skills.

Awarded the Spark certification and the Healthy Pre-Schools (HPS) Accreditation, our kindergarten at NUS abodes by the school health promotion practices recommended by the Health Promotion Board in Singapore. The Spark certification is also a testament to the emphasis we place on updating the education landscape to keep up with the changing educational trends and pedagogies.

Being the chosen preschool by top institutions, the Little Skool-House campus at NUS is the preferred preschool for employees of our workplace centre partner in Clementi Road. Established to provide working parents childcare services during working hours, our POP workplace centre is a convenient option for parents working at NUS.

Inspired by her favorite book ‘Life Lessons’ by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler, Dawn has been teaching children to appreciate the little things in life. She aims to infuse the extraordinary in her lessons, and give children opportunities to have fun and challenge themselves, every single day.

When should I apply for my child’s enrolment? Is there a fixed period for registration?

Enrolment is open all year round, depending on availability of spaces. You may register up to 12 months before your child’s intended enrolment date.

What are the school hours?

This centre is open from:

Mondays to Fridays: 7am to 7pm
Saturdays: 7am to 2pm

Our centres are closed for 6 days in addition to public holidays.

What is the difference between Little Skool-House centres that are under the Partner Operator (POP) scheme and those that aren’t?

At Little Skool-House, we have a network of centres, with 14 centres operating under the Partner Operator (POP) scheme governed by ECDA. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility, affordability, and quality of childcare services for working parents.

Besides our consistent core curriculum and teaching approach, our 6 non-POP centres offer supplementary enriching programmes such as music, sports, and our exclusive REACH (Read Chinese at Home) programme. The REACH programme provides weekly take-home books and accompanying audio guides for learning support at home, empowering parents to be more involved in their child’s education. These centres also boast superior facilities for a comfortable and stimulating environment. Parents are also able to chat real-time with our teachers and be updated on their child’s progress via our Parent App. Additionally, these centres maintain a lower teacher-child ratio for more individualised attention.

Is there a school bus service for this centre?

No, but there is an internal NUS shuttle bus service that drops off near our centre.

How do I get to the Preschool in Clementi (Singapore)?

Located minutes away from Kent Ridge MRT station, The Little Skool-House at Kent-Vale can be conveniently accessed by families residing in Queenstown, Clementi, Jurong East, Ghim Moh, and Pandan Gardens. Bus service 963 is available from the National University Hospital, 95 from Kent Ridge Station exit A, and bus services 183 and 189 are available from Clementi Station Exit B. There is also an internal NUS shuttle bus service.
