Being the chosen preschool by top institutions, our POP workplace centre in Outram Community Hospital is the preferred preschool for employees of our workplace centre partner in Outram. Established to provide working parents with a safe place for their children during working hours, our centre is a convenient option for parents working in the area.

The Little Skool-House kindergarten in Outram has been awarded the Spark certification by ECDA and Healthy Pre-Schools (HPS) Accreditation in Singapore. We create a safe and nurturing learning environment that teaches kids the importance of proper nutrition and staying active.

We run a full-day programme for preschoolers, following a pedagogy based on clinical research on child development and education has led to 93% of Little Skool-House preschoolers being Highly Proficient in both English and Mandarin. We also offer a range of enrichment programmes for more holistic development.

Preschool (18 months to 6 years) – Full Day

At the Little Skool-House kindergarten in Outram, we offer full-day programmes for preschoolers in Singapore, aged between 18 months and 6-years old. Our pedagogy based on clinical research on child development and education has led to 93% of Little Skool-House preschoolers being Highly Proficient in both English and Mandarin. Marie believes in creating a “Home Away from Home”. This means providing a positive and safe environment for children to explore and learn, unleash their potential and prepare them for life. She believes that this vision can be achieved through close partnerships with teachers, families and the community. In her free time, Marie enjoys singing and playing the piano with her husband and children.

When should I apply for my child’s enrolment? Is there a fixed period for registration?

Enrolment is open all year round, depending on availability of spaces. You may register up to 12 months before your child’s intended enrolment date.

What are the school hours?

This centre is open from:

Mondays to Fridays: 7am to 7pm
Saturdays: 7am to 2pm

Our centres are closed for 6 days in addition to public holidays.

What is the difference between Little Skool-House centres that are under the Partner Operator (POP) scheme and those that aren’t?

Governed by ECDA, the Partner Operator (POP) scheme supports appointed centres to improve the accessibility, affordability and quality of childcare and infant care services. Rest assured that our programmes and curriculum are the same across all Little Skool-House centres.

Within the Little Skool-House network of centres, we have reserved 14 of them to be POP centres (Partner Operator centres under the Partner Operator scheme governed by ECDA to improve accessibility, affordability and quality of childcare and infant care services for working parents). These centres operate on the premises of the partner employer. However, in all other aspects, our POP centres are the same as every other Little Skool-House centre in the delivery of programmes and curriculum.

While we prioritise working parents who are employees of the partner company for each POP centre, we invite other parents to apply and join the waitlist.

How do I get to the Preschool in Hospital Boulevard (Singapore)?

Located a walking distance away from Outram Park MRT station, Little Skool-House kindergarten in Outram Singapore can be conveniently accessed by families residing in Bukit Merah, Downtown core, Outram, and Radin Mas. Bus service 196 is available from opposite the MAS building.
